The 2nd South Asian Conference aims to foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the expected behavior and responsibilities of all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers.
Respectful Communication
Engage in constructive and respectful dialogue. Listen actively and appreciate diverse perspectives.
Inclusivity
Encourage participation from all attendees, regardless of background, identity, or experience. Be welcoming and supportive.
Professionalism
Maintain professionalism in all interactions. This includes respectful language, appropriate attire, and a commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere.
Collaboration
Work collaboratively with others to promote the goals of the conference. Share knowledge and resources generously.
Confidentiality
Respect the confidentiality of discussions and personal information shared during the conference.
Harassment
Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or online harassment, is strictly prohibited. This includes inappropriate comments, threats, and unwanted physical contact.
Discrimination
Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
Disruptive Behavior
Disruptive behavior, including excessive noise or interference during sessions, will not be tolerated.
Substance Abuse
The use of illegal substances or Narcotics consumption is not permitted.
If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to a conference organizer or designated staff member. All reports will be treated confidentially and addressed promptly.
Participants who violate this Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the conference without a refund and may be banned from future events organized by CPE.
