Global Centre for Climate Change and Environment (GCCCE) was established in response to the urgent need to address the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation. With the planet facing unprecedented ecological threats, including rising temperatures, loss of biodiversity, and pollution, there is a critical demand for collaborative efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change and safeguard the environment for future generations.
The Secretariat (Center for People and Environ) will lead research and innovation, education and awareness on climate change and environment, policy advocacy on climate resilient and sustainable development, and multi-country cooperation on center esteemed issues.
