Anusree Ghost is working as climate expert in Center for People and Environ. she is an agriculturist, completing her Honours Graduation in Agriculture and her Master’s degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding from HSTU. Her MS research focused on jute variety development. she conducted research on climate change knowledge management as a research fellow of Oxfam-HSTU. She reported having attended numerous international and national gatherings where she presented her research findings on Climate Change, Gender, Wetlands, Sustainable Development Goals, and Plant Genetics.
She has worked with development organizations such as Bangladesh POUSH and the Bangladesh Social Scientists Foundation on climate change and gender issues. Additionally, she holds a consultant role with Oxfam for compiling gender-friendly adaptation technology. As one of the founding members of Bangladesh Delta Forum, a civil society group advocating for the sustainable implications of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, she has made significant contributions. Her area of interest involves connecting academic research with development research to bridge science and policy.
