Asma Akther Popy is working as Research Associate (GIS Analyst) in Center for People and Environ (CPE) over 2 years. She has over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining GIS, RS, and Earth engine applications. She has completed her B.Sc. degree in Geography and Environmen. Her M.Sc. degree in Physical Geography and Environment from the Department of Geography and Environment, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has great expertise in the field of GIS-based application and spatial database development, especially in Water, Agriculture and Food Security, Climate and Disaster Vulnerability, Infrastructure Management, Land and Natural Resources Changes analysis, Topographical and Hydrographical data collection, Data analysis and Documentation and so on.
