The International Journal of Climate Science and policy (IJCSP) follows a triple-blind peer review process. In this process, we don’t expose the identities of the authors and the editors handling the manuscript hidden from the reviewers. In addition, the identities of the reviewers are hidden from the authors. This Triple-blind peer review aims to eliminate potential bias that could arise if the editor’s identity was known to the reviewers. Keeping the editor’s identity hidden makes the review process more fair and objective.

Common reasons for rejection

Your manuscript can be rejected for many reasons:

  • Plagiarism is more than 15% and unavoidably grammatical errors.
  • Technical reasons usually require more work such as further experiments or analysis.
  • Poor analysis such as using inappropriate statistical tests or lacking statistics altogether.
  • Weak research motive where your hypothesis is not clear or scientifically valid, or your data does not answer the question posed
  • Inaccurate conclusions on assumptions that are not supported by your data.
