Community-based waste management in Faridpur Municipality. the Aims and Objectives of this Study are :
- To conduct a primary survey of 200 households in Ward No 9 to understand their waste management practices.
- To identify the key challenges faced by residents in managing household waste effectively.
- To evaluate the existing waste management system and its impact on the environment and public health in the study area.
- To design a comprehensive, long-term waste management solution tailored to the specific needs of Ward No 9.
- To develop recommendations for improving waste segregation, recycling, and disposal methods to minimize environmental harm.
- To engage with local stakeholders and authorities in creating awareness and encouraging the adoption of environmentally friendly waste management practices in the community.
- To ensure inclusive coverage, a strategy for incorporating areas without waste management systems into the new, sustainable framework must be formulated.
