Md. Tanvir Hasan Shourov

Md. Tanvir Hasan Shourov has more than two years of experience in research. He serves in the Center for People and Environment (CPE) as a research intern. Also, Tanvir holds the Deputy National Coordinator of IT and Media position at SEECTO Bangladesh. He has shown outstanding leadership abilities and a dedication to ethical research procedures in his roles as a student researcher and general secretary at the “Ethical Social Research Initiative (ESRI).”
He is a graduate student in the ‘Sociology’ department of Hajee Mohammed Danesh Science & Technology University and is intensely interested in social research and community involvement. He is interested in researching a part of his thesis entitled “Association Between maternal asset ownership and early childhood nutrition: A Study on Northern Part in Bangladesh.”
Tanvir’s involvement in 14 national and international academic conferences, where he shared his study’s outcomes, showcases his research proficiency. He has experience working with prestigious organizations such as Friendship NGO, BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO), Nilsen Company (Bangladesh) Ltd., and Nexel Research Limited.
Tanvir has acquired expertise in data collecting, data analysis, and presentation through diverse digital tools and applications. His adeptness in technical skills and ability to quickly learn new technologies allow him to get excellent outcomes in his research projects. Tanvir has experience working in rural and urban communities, gaining a thorough awareness of intricate socioeconomic challenges, and is motivated by a strong dedication to social justice and community empowerment. Tanvir excels in dynamic settings and is enthusiastic about tackling new problems with a proactive and meticulous mindset.
