Research Intern
Mazharul Kabir is a dedicated Research Intern at the Center for People & Environ (CPE), specializing in geospatial analysis. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography & Environment from Dhaka College, with expertise in GIS and remote sensing technologies. Proficient in ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, GEE, and Erdas Imagine, he applies spatial analysis, georeferencing, and data visualization to environmental research.
He has worked on digital feature extraction surveys and disaster-prone area mapping, leveraging open-source tools as President of YouthMappers: Dhaka College Chapter.
At CPE, Mazharul focuses on GIS-based research related to land use changes, climate impact assessments, and data-driven environmental solutions. His work aligns with CPE’s mission to advance sustainable development through scientific research.
