Objective of the Study:
The primary objective of this study was to assess and determine the drinking water quality for beneficiaries of the Integrated Flood Resilience Programme (Phase III), implemented by the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS). The study aimed to ensure that the drinking water provided to vulnerable communities in flood-prone areas meets national and international water quality standards, thereby safeguarding public health and reducing the risk of waterborne diseases.

Specific tasks:

  • Collection of water samples from Tangail Sadar and Kalihati Upazila of Tangail.
  • Fecal coliform, iron, and arsenic assessment of collected samples.
  • Submission of data collection, data analysis, and water quality standard report.
