Admin & Finance Officer circular

We are Hiring Admin & Finance Officer

Center for People and Environ (CPE) is a research and policy organization working on people-centered development, environment, climate change, and social equity. We are seeking a competent and dedicated Admin & Finance Officer to support our organizational and operational functions.

Educational Qualification

  • BBA / MBA in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
  • Degree must be obtained from any recognized university in Bangladesh

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, and/or finance
  • Experience in an NGO, research organization, development sector, or business entity will be preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

Admin

  • Work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Review, implement, and update HR, administrative, and financial policies
  • Maintain and update employee and organizational databases
  • Organize and manage confidential files and official documents
  • Answer queries from employees and external stakeholders
  • Maintain the company calendar and schedule meetings
  • Book meeting rooms and coordinate office logistics
  • Distribute and archive official correspondence (letters, emails, parcels)
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics
  • Schedule and organize in-house and external meetings/events
  • Provide daily updates to the Director

Finance & Procurement Operation

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement processes
  • Prepare regular purchase reports, expense reports, and office budgets
  • Maintain financial records and support accounting procedures
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical and financial data
  • Support audit and compliance-related activities

Skills & Expertise

  • Proven experience as an Admin & Finance Officer / HR & Admin Officer or similar role
  • Sound knowledge of HR policies, admin procedures, and accounting basics
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and administrative regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, CRM, e-commerce
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and multitasking ability
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: BDT 50000.00
  • Other benefits will be provided as per organizational policy
