Educational Requirements
Post-graduation in Climate Change, Disaster Science, Social Science, Economics, Environmental Science, Geography, or related subjects from a recognized university in Bangladesh.
Experience and expertise
- At least five years of experience in qualitative data collection through FGD, KII, case study, best practice documentation on climate change, disaster risk reduction, resilient agriculture, and food security.
- Familiar with the climate change policy, strategy of Bangladesh.
- Familiar with the climate finance mechanism in Bangladesh.
- Familiar with analyzing qualitative data.
- Working collaboratively with other researchers and stakeholders
- Adapting to changing circumstances and unexpected findings
Key responsibilities
Recruiting and screening participants: Identification and selection of individuals who fit the study criteria.
Conducting interviews, focus groups, and observations: Facilitate discussions, ask questions, and observe behaviors in a way that is both structured and flexible.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation: Meticulously document data collection processes, including audio recordings, field notes, and other relevant materials.
Organizing and coding qualitative data: Organize transcripts, field notes, and other data sources, and identify recurring themes and patterns.
Analyzing data to identify key themes and insights: Interpret the meaning of the data and draw conclusions relevant to the research questions.
Developing a deep understanding of the research subject: Immerse in the data, seeking to understand the complexities and nuances of human experiences.
Writing reports and presentations: Communicate findings to stakeholders, using clear and concise language.
Monthly gross salary: 50000.00 BDT
