Study on climate change impacts and priority adaptation measures for selected urban areas in Bangladesh
The broad objective of the study is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the vulnerability of the selected urban areas to identify effective adaptation measures (WASH, livelihoods, disaster, education, health, infrastructure, transport and communication, watershed management, etc.) that can be implemented to reduce vulnerability and the impact of climate change. The study has developed urban heat island, heat vulnerability, and adaptation plan for thirteen urban areas (5 City corporations and eight municipalities) of Bangladesh.
